Hey, I'm Katie

I’m a mum of two girls, married to Ben, and we live in Matamata with our border collie Meadow and our very old cat Harry.

When I’m not taking photos, I’m usually making coffee, baking something sourdough-related or convincing myself I definitely need another camera-related purchase.

I started photography in 2021 and what began as something I loved pretty quickly turned into this. I’ve photographed babies only hours old, families as they’ve grown, and wedding days from the nervous getting-ready part right through to everyone letting loose on the dance floor.

I’m pretty relaxed and down to earth, and that’s exactly how I want it to feel being in front of my camera. You don’t need to know what to do. I’ll guide you when you need it, and otherwise I’ll let you be yourselves.
